Cropmarks on hillside show unusual rectangular, univallate enclosure, well-defined with sharp-angled corners and curving upper boundary, the latter no doubt following the prevailing topography. The enclosure measures approximately 95m NE/SW x 70m NW/SE. There is a simple internal subdivision in the south-west part. The enclosure is overlain by a present-day field boundary suggesting a reasonable antiquity. It may be a medieval enclosed settlement. Discovered during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 27th July 2006.
