A small rectangular structure open at the front built deeply into the steep hillside. In effect it resembles a stone lined recess - the exterior walls are more or less buried. Internally it is 2.4m wide by 2m deep. At the rear is a small recess in the wall. It is shown on the 25 inch 2nd edition O.S. map (1907) just to the north west of a quarry pit site. Possibly once used as an explosives store for the nearby quarries. 25m above O.D.
