A concrete wireless mast stay anchor 9D for mast 9, of which four were used per 1914 antenna mast. It measures 3.7m long by 3.7m at the base (3.7m x 2m at top), and up to 1m high. Mass of ca. 98 tons. Five steel ‘eyes’ providing attachment points for a total of seven guy wire tensioning turnbuckles splayed out and ran deep into the concrete. The form was used widely across the Marconi Empire wireless scheme.
