A small cottage is shown here on the Ordnance Survey's Original Surveyor Drawings of 1832, set in an enclosure carved out of the common. From the Llangadfan parish tithe map of 1840 and its apportionment it is known that a Thomas Owen owned and occupied the cottage. The building was still occupied into the early 20th century and is shown on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey map of 1901. In 2014, the cottage was reduced to its wall bases but the enclosing field was still maintained as an area of improved pasture. J.J.Hall, Trysor, 22 March 2014
