Towyn Independent Chapel was built in 1860 to the design of architect Thomas Jones of Pencnwc. The chapel was modified 1865-9 by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore, a schoolroom, vestry and porch added in 1899 and an organ chamber in 1909. The present chapel, dated 1860, is built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan.
