DisgrifiadThe first Caersalem Methodist Chapel was built in 1825 and then sold to the railway company c.1865. A new chapel was built on a new site, away from the railway line, in 1866, to the design of architect W H Spaull of Oswestry. This was modified/extended in 1911. The present chapel, dated 1866, is stone built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan. The building is now utilised as a shop but is Grade 2 Listed as a finely-detailed chapel retaining much of its contemporary interior.
