Disgrifiad
The placename, Portland Grounds, refers to an area of extensive flats adjoining the water's edge/seawall at Redwick. The Magor Pil drains to the southwest along its southern boundary. A road leads from Redwick to the water's edge suggesting that the flats were used as a landing place.
